As an essential part in creating a homely atmosphere, we take a special pride in the quality, variety and presentation of food. Every diet is catered for and individual preferences incorporated into the menu. The kitchen has a list of  the likes and dislikes of every resident.

There is always a choice of menu, including a vegetarian option. Our experienced and well-qualified chef, Clive,  prepares the food in the house kitchen, including the breads served with soup. He loves baking and every day there is something yummy for tea. Residents who like to bake sometimes make and decorate small cakes. For several years our kitchen has been given the local authority Gold Award for Food Hygiene, most recently on 18th November, 2019.

The dining room has round tables which encourage communication between residents.
